What a difference a year makes. After dealing with infertility for three years we found out we were expecting and oh what a year it has been. The pregnancy was hard, very hard. I spent 7 weeks in the hospital and seriously almost lost my life, delivered at 30 weeks and then little man spent 7 weeks in the hospital. I lost an entire year and am excited to get back into homesteading and homeschooling Rhys. After a lot of discussion and consideration we are choosing not to enroll Rhys in school. Meet Pystol
Pystol was born 10 weeks early, just like his brother, he was 3 pounds and got off to a very rocky start. After 7 weeks in the NICU we brought him home and he completes our family of 6 :-)
We added 3 new rabbits and some new hens for a total of 10. The rabbits are heritage breed American Blues and are beautiful. They are the first pedigreed rabbits we've owned so we are excited to breed them.
We built hoop houses for our garden beds, started making and eating a lot of bone broth, making kombucha and apple cider vinegar at home. I will be adding pictures later!
