Fastest month ever. August flew by! The garden is winding down although the tomatoes continue haunting me. The pepper plants were late bloomers and are booming. I cannot believe how much we harvested from our little garden.

I have enjoyed staying home. The little man has been doing well. We are approaching his 3rd birthday and he continues to make progress.

Tuesday I am attending a bread making class and chicken butchering class. I am excited.

We have not tried mating rabbits yet but I may attempt putting them together this week and seeing how it goes. The man of my dreams has covered their hutches and their new home rocks.

The chickens continue to do well and we are up to 14 hens and 1 studly rooster. We only bought 6 but we continue to acquire strays. I sold my first dozen eggs last week, that was pretty exciting.

I traded some jam and peaches for a sewing machine on Friday and am excited to teach the Princess how to use it.
