Saving Money

I am always on a mission to save money, make money via a side hustle, or just simply not spend money. I resisted some things that have come to be decent money makers. One was ibotta. I installed and deleted this app more than once thinking it would be too much effort but it really isn't. When we started saving for a down payment on our new home I reinstalled it and committed to trying it for a month. Three months in and I have made $95. I feel so silly for all the time I wasted not using it. If you've been living under a rock and haven't downloaded it yet just follow my link :-)

Rainy afternoon naps

one of the happiest most peaceful times of day is when the little one and his furry friend lay down for a nap together. Summer is long and hot so afternoons after playing outside are perfect for this. My heart swells and for a fraction of a second I think we should make more babies <3

Feathered Friends

Our chickens and ducks were the hardest part of the move. They did not want to go and catching them in the hot Georgia sun was no joke. They did however settle in nicely and love their new digs.

Life is all about change and some of those changes are BIG

We made a HUGE change this Summer. We left the town we called home for the last 13 years and moved to North Georgia, on a mountain, in the middle of no where. 7 acres and our new home. It has been an adjustment but one surrounded by good things.
