Two years ago I started a job that was what I thought I wanted. My son who was born 10 weeks premature was doing well and his Dad managed the house and medical issues my son encountered. I was in school finishing a degree in healthcare administration and life seemed to be taking us down a path that I was okay with traveling.

We had a series of events that led us into a new home and coupled with extra time, extra land and a desire to live more naturally for our sons benefit we began gardening and raising chickens. My youngest son is allergic to red dye and has a fructose intolerance. He is disabled and developmentally delayed due to his prematurity.

He is making tons of progress and the changes we have made in lifestyle are positive ones. I finished my degree and quit my job to become a stay at home Mom.

Sometimes in life it is the little things that make the biggest impact.
