This weekend was jam packed. Friday I met a couple that I was trading with, I traded eggs for some peppers and a few other odds and ends. Saturday morning we traded two laying hens for a breeding pair of Californian meat rabbits and $10. They are beautiful! Saturday evening I got to spend some time with the man of my dreams and he listened while I rambled about my plans.

I have been trying to get with someone to purchase a used tiller from them but no such luck so far, we coordinate and he drops off the face of the Earth.

Sunday I met someone that I traded a laying hen that a friend gave us because she wasn't fitting in her flock. I  traded her for two brand new cases of canning jars.

I also found a local grocery store that will give me their produce discards for $1. Everything for $1, I brought home three grocery bags full this past week :-)
